Angela Williams is accountable for ensuring that the administration and implementation of Higher Purpose Business Academy are well-managed, including developing new program materials, project management, excellent relational skills, and a passion for connecting with and supporting Local Economy Leaders.

Angela currently oversees a 7-week program anchored by Higher Purpose Co's culturally relevant curriculum and comprehensive business support. We select from existing/potential for-profit businesses that operate in one of the following seven high-growth sectors in Mississippi. The Higher Purpose Business Academy also engages and supports current and prospective Business Academy members by providing business support to Black Entrepreneurs that are a part of Higher Purpose Co. across Mississippi.

Angela is a native of Clarksdale, MS, and has worked in administration and for nonprofits in the Coahoma and Quitman County communities for over five years. She received her B.S in Business Administration from Alcorn State University and her Masters of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management from Walden University.
